The Arctic Monkeys, one of the most popular British bands, have been linked to a series of surprise shows in Sheffield.

According to Gigaddict, the promotion company SJM Concert has given a notice of a license application for three nights of live music in Hillsborough Park, from the 4-6 June 2021.

Rumors are circulating online as SJM applied for up to four nights at the park back in 2018, however they withdrew it later and the band played at the FlyDSA Arena instead.

The Arctic Monkeys released their last album, Tranquility Base Hotel & Casino, in 2018. They stopped touring the record in 2019.
